Just one of many nude beaches on the California coast, we are three miles north of Santa Cruz and eager to get naked! Not a cloud in the sky, not a stitch of clothing, we are ready to let loose and play like children - spontaneous, creative and uninhibited. The highlight is a game of volleyball.

nomad-notes
North of Santa Cruz are a string of beaches with a history of nude use. Just follow coastal highway 1 up towards San Francisco. I have scouted most of the beaches and researched the history and attitudes and had several beaches identified as good locations for us. This group was mostly people who knew each other in Santa Cruz, and there were a few from the southern part of the Bay Area. We had brunch together at the Dennys in Santa Cruz, then carpooled to the beach just out of town - yes you guessed it... 3 miles beyond the last stop light intersection. It was one of those perfect days with endless warm sunshine. I shot a lot of video that day and at some point it will get edited.
