California Camping 2013 Videos

This was our third camping event. This time it was a new location north of Sacramento at a man-made lake. There were textile campers nearby but we were able to hike and swim with freedom. We had a sweltering heat wave that weekend, hence a lot of dips into the lake. Usually nights are cold, but not this weekend!

We have arrived at this year's new camping spot. After getting our tents up, we dive into the water.

It is warm enough to stay nude at night and we enjoy social time together. We cook dinner on a grill and the campfire.

After breakfast we head out on a short hike around the property. You can see the low water level in the lake.

It is a hot day as the hike continues but soon we are in shaded forest and find opportunitues for fun group photos.

We are back at camp, time to relax and take a dip in the lake. A couple of us figure out the shower.

Nearing the end of the day, our growing group goes for a swim. It's a welcome relief from the heat.

Treking up the hill we come to our place for a tantric yoga workshop with Shakti.

At the top of a hill, Shakti starts her unique Tantra routine: a relaxing and warming-up with body movements.

Now working with partners: back-to-back, eye-gazing, heart-contact, hugging, ring-circle chant... and a glorious sunset.

Dusk falls, and time to have supper, leading to the evening's celebration with fireworks and our version of Burning Man.
