Nomad's Notes

This June 2022 was the first time I actually attended WNBR, though several friends did participate every year. But I did not ride in the event since it is lose to impossible to photograph and ride at the same time. I was nude in the staging area and hung out with about 20 friends who were getting ready to ride. There are always a bunch of "creepy" clothed and masked photographers buzzing around shooting and I did not want to be identified with them - you'll never see their pictures but you will see mine as it is valuable to have a photographic record of this great event. Once the ride started I jumped in my car and drove ahead to a spot where I could get out and shoot the bikes passing. I repeated this a few times, then lost track of the group after City Hall.
