Naturism celebrates everyday nudity shared in nature and in relaxed social environments. These galleries show people enjoying the outdoors together in a natural, equal, and unselfconscious way — whether swimming, exploring, creating, or simply spending time with friends. Nude beach Party Day 2011

Baker Beach was transformed into a festive sea of clothes-free bodies running, jumping, wrestling, throwing, hopping, spinning, climbing, and not to mention body-painting! Winners were awarded with embossed coffee mugs. And as usual an amazing sand castle was built under the direction and artful hand of CastleBill!

Free Bodies at Panther Beach 2007

Our group has a fun day of games, contests and exploring at another body-freedom event. This scenic beach with many interesting features is not far from Santa Cruz, California. We shot some group arty photos and then played a number of games, free from clothing of course!

World Naked Gardening Day 2008

We were lucky to get some warmth and sunshine on this May 1st in this San Francisco neighborhood. A small group got together to spruce up Piggy Sue's garden. But it wasn't all work. There was some play too with mud body painting, and group massage. Lisa and Kiki just had to climb the tree. Nude gardening is a popular pastime all over the world - something about getting right down there in the dirt with all of your body.

Naked Hiking in the Desert 2008

It is warm enough in the California winter desert to experience the pleasures of clothes-free exploring. This small group scouted a trail we will use again with a bigger group at a later date. There were parking spots next to the highway, then a short walk around the first bend to naked freedom! No one else was on the trail that day.

Yuba River Gold Panning 2008

This outing was mainly a scouting trip to get familiar with the location so that it could be used later with a larger group. Many parts of the Yuba River and it's branches have traditionally seen nudist use. It is a long drive, over 3 hours, from San Francisco but well worth it.

This event was held on Baker Beach - very accessible as it is right in San Francisco. It turned out to be a pretty lively group and we did a variety of activities and games to keep the energy up on this cool cloudy day. Naked wrestling, hula hooping, performances, Naked twister, to name a few.

A big group of us go to the clothing-optional area of Folsom lake, California to explore body rhythms in nature. Most were not dancers but were able to create their own natural body flow. We easily create our own beautiful movements without explicit forms being imposed on us. Nude bodies take on shapes natural to the environment.
