Naturism celebrates everyday nudity shared in nature and in relaxed social environments. Auburn American River Hike 2009

This is our second trip to the American River, northwest of San Francisco. This time we follow the well-worn path south to see what other random spot we can find. We come across a small waterfall shooting out of the hillside. Then we continue until we find the perfect spot, a small beach and quiet lagoon. On the other side of the rocks is deep water and a ledge to jump from. This was indeed an idyllic nudist day.

We had the idea to do something in the student dorm house for a couple of years and it finally came together this spring day. You will recognize many of us from other outings. Yes this is where we live while we struggle through our courses at UC Berkeley! Most of us had finished exams, a good excuse to kick back, relax and have fun. Without clothes of course!

We're in southern California on famed Blacks Beach with this group of local friends out for an afternoon of naked beach fun. This beach has a long history of nudist acceptance and is a wonderful place to visit any day. Over the beach is a hang glider port so there are usually a number of human kites floating around high above.

Boat Trip on the Delta 2015

There's nothing like the freedom of not having to wear clothes nor bathing suits on a sailboat. At the marina we had to be dressed, but a short distance away we quickly returned to our pure natural states. Feeling the cool breeze on every inch of your skin is amazing!

Scouting in the Sierras 2014

A scouting trip to the foothills of the Sierras to check out a new potential property and a waterfall results in a photo shoot due to unexpected warm weather. A couple of days later it snows. But that's no deterrent to us to do our usual thing!

In the Wild Camping 2013

This third year of naked camping we decide to go someplace more accessible and we found a private campground. It's a very hot dry summer and we are camping next to a reservoir with a low water level. Swimming is the most attractive activity! We do manage to take short hikes and a couple of Tantra energy yoga sessions right in the middle of nature.

Lupin Lodge Bodyfest 2014

This was the second year staging this "big" event! Lupin Lodge, California, was again a great location for us. We repeated and built upon the activities of the previous year: Yoga, butoh, massage, tantra, raw food workshops. Did I mention the live (and nude) performers? And with time for play with bodypaint, water sprayers, and giant bubbles. We even had an afterparty a few days later.
