Nomad's Notes
There's not much of special interest to report for this outing other than the fact that at this time I was taking out a different group to a different place every 2 days over a 10-day period, flying by the seat of my pants, working out of a motorhome. Juggling who could show up on which day was quite a task and this group got pulled together semi-randomly almost down to the last hour. We met for a quick lunch downtown, then drove over to the beach. I was praying for sunshine and warmth but it never happened. Weather forecasts in San Francisco are almost useless. Still, there is something to be said for this kind of soft glowing light. In the last gallery people get dressed and we head back, but then there is a whole other sequence of 3 of the women climbing trees and frolicking amongst wildflowers. At this point everyone was cold and wanted to go home, but slave-driver that I am, I wanted to make the most of the visual possibilities. Three of the women were enthusiastic to do this even though it was right next to the parking lot. The guys were chicken-shit. One more thing - you will notice that in this shoot you never see any of the photographers - that is because on this rare occasion we wore clothing. It was just too cold!
