In the Wild Camping 2012
We are back to Blue Lake for the second time. The weather is beautiful but the water level is very low! It really is the perfect spot for naked camping, well, other than having to haul everything by boat from the parking area. We had our Drowning Man event and we again took a wonderful hike up to see the panormas of the surrounding Sierra foothills.

Nomad's Notes

This was the second year of camping for us and we went back to the same spot as 2011. I could not go this summer and maybe partly because I was not there things could have gone better. We actually had twice the number of people booked and where were they? Flaked. No one really stepped forward to get people organized into group activities. Photo shooting was sporadic. Ah, well... those that went said they had a pretty good time. It was decided, however, that the task of moving everything by boat was getting to be too much and we would in future look for more accessible locations.
