Nomad's Notes

I had planned an other outing to the San Lorenzo River with a group and had bunch of people set up. It turned out only 3 women showed up. So it was just them and Spencer and I shooting. He shot stills and I shot video. I love shooting on-the-fly, trying to be spontaneously creative and letting things evolve without too much direction. You can tell the women did a lot of modelling because that's the pattern they fell into. I had hoped for something more natural. At the start, I asked Kitty to pretend that she was reticent about taking clothes off just to inject some kind of "drama" into the sequence. Of course she is just the opposite so it was quite silly. As you look through the photos realize that often I am just behind a big rock shooting from another angle, or just outside of frame having been cropped out for this sequence. There are actually 4 images where you can see the microphone if you look closely at the side. At the very end there is a kind of short bonus sequence that took place on the main trail near the railway tracks. I was a bit behind and suddenly noticed that everyone ahead was getting naked again! This is not something I would allow on the main trail as it could get us into some trouble - but no one asked me. If you are wondering who the guy is, it's Kitty's boyfriend at the time. Luckily no one else came along the trail during those few moments.
