If you looked through the photos of this trip first (event-5), you will find the experience of seeing the day on video eye-opening. This sandy spot along the American River near Auburn is a popular nudist spot and there are other places down river that can be used with discretion. The cliff diving is impressive and called for some bravery. On-camera: Katgirl, Umbra, Je Suis, Paul, Tiffany, Tim, Lea

nomad-notes
This day was the first time I brought a video camera. I had orginally imagined this project being primarily about photos but it really does lend itself to moving images.
The videos have been edited in a kind of stream-of-reality style, which might be slow moving for some viewers. But I like it because it's almost like being there and experiencing each moment. It's a deliberate move away from flashy snazy "MTV" editing to something that actually requires you to relax, be patient and get into the rhythm of being one with nature.
I debated whether or not to add music. I like the videos without music, just natural sound. But I thought maybe they needed something to enhance the mood. Let me know what you think.
