Naturism celebrates everyday nudity shared in nature and in relaxed social environments. These galleries show people enjoying the outdoors together in a natural, equal, and unselfconscious way — whether swimming, exploring, creating, or simply spending time with friends. Bodyfreedom explores the many ways nudity is used creatively, symbolically, or expressively beyond traditional naturist settings. Bare Oaks Bodyfest 2021

Bodyfest is an event started by us in California, and it ran successfully from 2013-2017 when it was discontinued in favour of staging it at Bare Oaks in Canada. But it was difficult to build momentum in 2018/19 and then COVID came along. This 2021 edition of the event unfolded very well despite the rain on Saturday afternoon that drove us indoors.

Bare Oaks is the perfect place to hang out nude on any day but it's also the ideal location for an event like this that needs a lot of space and resources. It is a beautiful July weekend north of Toronto and we find people on-the-spot to participate in a photo shoot around the grounds of Bare Oaks Naturist Park. We wanted to show the experience of freedom and playing out in the natural world, with body and mind engaged with the elements. This is something most people never have experienced.
