This "Bodyfreedom" section was created to accommodate content that some people might think is not representative of "Naturism". You may disagree and consider all the images and videos here also part of the Naturist experience. These galleries may explore the many ways nudity can be experienced creatively, symbolically, or expressively beyond what many consider traditional naturist settings. These scenes could involve posing, performance, collaboration, or public visibility — situations where the tone differs from conventional social nudity. Here, clothing-freedom may carry intention, whether artistic, personal, or communicative. WNBR (World Naked Bike Ride) is an event that happens in many cities across the globe with the intention to protest the extensive use of hydrocarbons, mainly by automobiles. The message is that more people should use bicycles to get around, and more bike paths should be made available in urban areas. Riding your bike nude is partly to attract attention to the protest and partly to express the human freedom that comes with being closer to your natural state.

Windy Day at Laguna Creek 2017

There are a number of beaches along the coast of California north of Santa Cruz suitable for nude recreation. We have been to a number of them repeatedly but never before to Laguna Creek Beach, also known as Three Mile Beach as the highway entrance is about 3 miles from the edge of Santa Cruz. A small group came out on this chilly June day.

Santa Cruz Naked Retreat 2016

Deep in the Santa Cruz Mountains sits a private retreat that groups can rent. Here we were able to stay naked all weekend and explore our inner and outer selves without distraction. We had an opening Puja event, a yoga class, couples massage class, game challenges with Kalash, night-time bon fire with fire spinners, hiking through the local forest...

Nude Couple Photo Shoot 2014

This couple applied to participate in PhotoNaturals but it was winter at the time and I had the idea to do a 2-person nude shoot in my studio, something that I had not done yet. They turned out to be surprisingly agile and inventive and the result was this dynamic photo sequence. I set up a small video camera on a tripod and let it run, not knowing whether anything would come of it. -Nomad
