Naturism celebrates everyday nudity shared in nature and in relaxed social environments. These galleries show people enjoying the outdoors together in a natural, equal, and unselfconscious way — whether swimming, exploring, creating, or simply spending time with friends. Nudity is simply part of the setting, not the focus, allowing everyone to feel at ease. These images reflect community, comfort, and a genuine connection to the world around us.
Bodyfreedom explores the many ways nudity is used creatively, symbolically, or expressively beyond traditional naturist settings. In the hills north of Santa Cruz we arrive at a tiny village of yurts for the weekend. Our first multi-day retreat event and it was a beautiful and uplifting experience. Several workshop leaders gave mind and body exercises - dances - yoga - massage - and even a cuddle group. On the last day we did a fun scavenger hunt in the forest.

Folsom Lake Excursion 2008

Water levels in Folsom Lake were at an extreme low, exposing magnificent rock formations and a wonderful playground for our group. And a fantastic array of wildflowers were blooming! Bodies and nature came together for a dance of joy!

Once in a while we have a party where we show the images and videos from our trips and events and also individuals can do a brief nude performance. This event happened in San Francisco in 2010 with 40 people present.

North of Baker Beach 2009

North of the clothing-optional area of Baker Beach is another beach (Marshall Beach) which is more difficult to get to, so sees fewer people. It was a cool cloudy day but we braved the adventure to spend some time naked here. A few stoic souls actually went into the surf! We really have to come back when it is warm and sunny.

Three Muses meet the River Spirit

Yes, we are back to that nice spot in the Garden of Eden, as it is called here near Santa Cruz, California. Three girlfriends take the trail down into the valley and find a private spot along the river to be free of clothes for the afternoon.
