Our Bodyfreedom galleries explore the many ways nudity can be experienced creatively, symbolically, or expressively beyond traditional naturist settings. This was one of our first trips with a small group. There was little planning, just letting things happen. This location near Auburn, California, always has at least a few nudists visiting. It's a rare spot on the river where there is actually a beach. You can usually safely be nude on any of the trails in the valley.

First Bodyfreedom Festival 2006

Some time ago, this was our second attempt to get a decent-size group to show up on the beach. This time it worked! So I declare this as our first body-freedom festival. The day was rather unfocused but I did manage to round up people to play a few games. There was a lot of "posing" which I realized was not quite what the objective was.

We got a few people together and played on the beach. Our very first shoot and we did not know where all this would lead. We were hoping more people would show up, but we had not organized things very well. It is worth taking a look anyway.
